Monopoly GO! Social Content Manager Application

With millions of players watching Monopoly GO!’s channels, how do you decide what’s worth posting versus what’s better left in the box? How do you balance trends, brand voice, and keeping players excited without annoying them?

Being an avid member of the Monopoly GO! Facebook community groups has given me a front-row seat to what players really care about. Most engagement comes from people looking for free dice, tips for trading, or updates about events. When I decide what to post, I focus on content that delivers value to the community and makes their experience more fun. I make sure to stay true to Monopoly GO!’s playful and approachable voice while adapting trending formats like memes or short-form videos so they feel natural and relevant. My goal is always to create posts that excite and engage players without overwhelming them.

Share an example of social content you created or led that performed especially well. What was the idea, why was it right for that platform, and how did the results influence what you did next?

One example I am proud of is a short-form video focused on helping players maximize free dice during community events. The video was designed to reflect the tips and strategies players share in the Facebook groups, and it was a perfect fit for TikTok and Instagram because it was quick, visual, and actionable. It performed really well, sparking shares, comments, and follow-up questions from players. This experience showed me that content directly tied to community interests always resonates. After seeing its success, I focused on creating a mix of high-value tips and culturally relevant posts to maintain engagement and keep players excited.

How do you decide whether to jump in, how fast to move, and when it’s smarter to say no deal? Walk us through how you think about real-time moments on social.

Real-time moments require a mix of speed, judgment, and understanding of the community. I first ask whether the moment is relevant to Monopoly GO! players and aligns with the brand’s playful voice. If it is fun, culturally relevant, and adds value, I move quickly to create content that is polished enough to represent the game well. At the same time, I avoid jumping on trends that feel forced, off-brand, or are likely to frustrate the community. My rule of thumb is always whether the content will enhance the player experience or just create noise. This approach allows me to act fast on the right opportunities while keeping the channel trusted and engaging.
